Magic:
- Category of Magic:
Dark - Shadow Manipulation:
Able to fade into her own shadow, move through shadows, move shadows themselves. When she fades into her own shadow, she can hide completely if in pitch darkness and move in the shadows of others, but in dim light, her shadow is visible. She cannot hide in direct light be it a spell, the sun, or a torch, or she will fall out of her shadow.
Mental - Telepathy:
She is able to speak into the minds of others, plant ideas into them (suggestions), as well as images, and is able to read and even manipulate a persons thoughts, memories, and what they have learned. It is harder for her to read someone's mind when there is an Echo--the person is speaking and thinking the same thing--because it is painful to her. Also, the deeper into a mind she goes, and/or the more powerful the mind, the more she might assimilate into it unless she can keep a hold. For example, if she is reading a mind and happens across the thought 'I want to kill X person', she might momentarily consider it. She is also able to control the minds of others through implanting multiple suggestions about 10 people Maximum, but it would render her immobile and any distraction would cause her to break her hold. 3-5 people, she could maintain a decent hold on all of them but not use any other powers. 1-2 people she could easily dominate.
Mental - Telekinesis:
Having only one wing made this power more than a necessity; it made it a matter of pride. She can move objects, living things, and even herself, as sort of a makeshift usage of levitation. She has trouble maintaining a hold on objects larger than 120 pounds, and cannot lift an object larger than 140lbs. She merely has to be aware of an object in order to move it. The gestures she uses are generally arbitrary, but using them, as well as tracking an object with her eyes increases her accuracy.
Mental: Possession:
She can only possess what she can touch, be it an object, animal, or person. Residing inside an object results in her giving that object life, life in a different form, different from when she is possessing something already alive; when she possesses an object, there is no “outer life” to protect her from harm. Therefore, if she is damaged when she is an object, the object itself might bleed, and when she removed herself from it, she too will suffer injury. Usually, she simply uses the person as a host or a shell, taking energies as necessary and living inside until she breaks the bind. While inside the person, she can take control of their actions (if the person does not resist), and filter through their mind. Possession can only occur through touch, and entering the body can take time.

History:
Crowe was sold into slavery as a babe to a lovely Lord Mikhail of Qez who was farming potential slaves to help him feed him and his royal family. He gathered Vampire babies, Werewolf babies, and Demonic babies. Many of these children died as the Lord forgot that babies survived off of milk. As such, for some, he hired a Wetnurse too late. It did not stop him from recruiting. Once a sufficient amount of his funds were spend on feeding the children and they had grown up enough to be controlled, he bought some teachers who could use various methods of magic to control their students.
None of the teachers were really something to fear… unless the Lord did not like the results he got. If the results were not up to par with the speed he liked, his “children” were flogged, beaten, or controlled to do a task until he gave up from the mental exhaustion of procession or the child started bleeding, which then would cause an uproar from the vampire children, who had not yet learned to control their lust for blood. Years went on like this until the Children neared puberty. At this point, they had turned into small servants that the Lord fancied because they were all very proper and youthful looking. They made him look good, and in turn, he left his children alone.
Crowe emerged into his sight at this time. At age twelve she had become a lovely young lady with thick reddish wings emerging on her back, her horns basically formed. However, she did not look demon. No. She looked… dare he say it… Human… Maybe even Shifter if it weren't for the wings, fangs, claws, and… well… everything else. But he could see a kind of human in her that only the peasantry Nightwalkers had. So he had one of her wings removed, and every other child's wings just as they had begun to learn how to flap. He grew kind toward her, then hated himself for it, for being sweet on any of his servants, and flogged her for existing. She was not alone in her plight, for about seven other suffered with her, and those seven became her friends, mainly girls, and a few boys. As Slaves, they had nothing to truly say, no one to call for help, and their lives only got better.
After Puberty and into early adult hood, The same seven individuals were chosen as his elite and would now compete for his affections, and would in turn receive privileged such as going outside, buying things for themselves or the estate, meeting his guests on higher terms than that of a servant, etc. Some simply took up more chores, which only worked for a bit, others tried to better involve themselves in his duties, while others sought to show interest in some art-form—music, dance, singing, drawing. Those latter who wished to know more of art were the first to dance upon the Midnight Sky with their Mother Moon, only to be called back. Years went on like this, with torture as the Lord sought to perfect his dirty, stupid, pathetic, mongrel children. They wore devices to straighten their backs, make them walk in a certain way, hold their head up and never look down. But what they learned… that of both nobility combined with their peasantry background gave them a dual perspective on life and broadened their horizon.
At age 27 for Crowe, many of the servants had become docile, suffering from the amount that their teachers and their Lord entered their mind and controlled them. Indeed, many had no minds. She herself was forever on the verge of insanity, suffering from seeing things, fear of torture… and one night, their household itself darkened and all the Lord created turned on him, an ordeal truly too graphic to recount. Suffice it to say, some remain in the estate of that Lord, but it is not nobility—or, if it is, it is the nobility of an abyss. Crowe escaped then along with many others, took off into the night, traveling with company here and there, having bad run-ins elsewhere, and never sleeping in the same tree twice as it seemed periodical haunting from Her Lord were not uncommon, for he knew she could hear him…~

Personality:
Philosophical | Resilient | Patient | Tolerant | Benevolent | Righteous | Pragmatic | Adaptive | Resourceful | Sadistic Inclinations | Generous | Open-Minded | BiPartial Disorder | Paranoid
Philosophical | Nightwalkers suffer an inconvenient position, that of literal and necessary evil, to feed on others and exist as the nightmares humans so desperately fear. It seems however, that being the prowlers of the night, the true unknown, Humans and the like find nighwalkers to truly be some terrible devil; truth is, everyone has the potential to become a demon (in, of course, the metaphorical sense), and putting down an entire race for the necessary diet of vampires is as cruel as it is unjust. Biased, Obviously.
Resilient / Righteous / Sadistic Inclinations | Torture does something to all people, all animals. Beat an animal long enough and it will forget to flinch, forget to care, forget to fight back. And, contrary to the popular belief, we Nightwalkers are not so base as animals. We reason probably as much as the Humans—being two sides of the same coin, and I am willing to fight on that, not because everyone wants to be the savior and hero of their story, but because doing what is right is Hell, and it just means going through it again, and again, and again. It might just be easier to just murder people,or torture them But then… (sigh) that’s stooping to their level.
Patient / Tolerant | You’ve come this far in hearing my ramblings, hm? Applauds. I think you might exhibit more of this characteristic than I at this moment. Ha. Might.
Pragmatic | I know many people are still angered by The Great War, but what of it now? Yes, much of it has gone unsolved because no one has calmed down in one thousand, five hundred years. No one is willing to compromise. So, here we are, with no solution.
Adaptive / Resourceful | So, I get in a tangle with some bandits, trapped in a net, y’see and I’ve got nothing on me except my magic. It’s all I need really with these lovies (wiggles a handful of claws in front of nose). So I… well, I was about to be cut down from my perch and so I swing toward the tree I am hanging from and cling to the damned tree, hugging the bark as best I can while I am flapping my wing, the whole fuss, and I am trying to possess the damned tree, but it won’t let me! When I am half-way into its mind, completely exhausted, frightening these poor human bandits who thought they’d just skin some demon, I can hear thing idea in my head, wondering if I am a fungus or some damned parasite! (laughs)
Benevolent / Open-Minded / Generous| What are we teaching our youth? You know the reason we still react negatively toward The Great War is due to our fear, right? Some people aren’t afraid, and I say they should be, but not afraid with hysteria. A healthy amount of paranoia keeps people safe. Yet, some people are afraid, and I say they should be less afraid, because they are scaring their children, and other parent’s children. Is that really what we want to do, to harm the rest of generations to come? What cruelty, for even after nearly sixty generations of humans—different people—we remain the same. I suppose that means, humans don’t get over their own nightmares, but that doesn’t mean I have to be something to fear. What happened to the good in this world? What happened to compromise? So many people are willing to be the saviors. What happened to those who sow the seeds and try to set the example? You say Saviors set the example? No. They show society how to die with honor. I hope to be one of many who show society how to live without shame, for we only get this life, no matter how many Gods or Goddesses we believe in.
BiPartial Disorder/Paranoia | Don't talk about it... you'll only excite him.
