Screaming and crying were the only sounds that seem to be heard this hour of the night in Sohana, for they were of one sole person who lived among the sides of alleys. Not a single star or moonlight source, tis pitch dark, damp, and the like with rain that ever seem to push pressure upon ones skin, however it rarely rained so when it did it was ever so intense. Guards of the nightly hour seem to chase the sounds in confusion of what it could be but they never could ever find the source and all they'd find after all was done was either blood splatter and even maybe one of there ranks.
A slam could be heard as a shadowy figure in a random alley begins to move slowly away from the tapping and dings of an armored patrol. The rain fell harder as if intent to kill yet hindered the clunky sounds, The figure stumbled feeling along the walls of townsfolk homes as corners came about, feeling grooves and edges alike to avoid circling back around on incident. The figures feet were bare and in pain from the rocky floors of the town, random artifacts scrapping or poking as every step was made moving onto anywhere away from trouble. The guards seem to have eventually given up as naught but the rain was heard, the streets seem to begin to rise slightly with water but that much cannot be helped. The figure dropped down with knees slamming to the ground and began collecting the water , lowering there head as they begun to splash it against there face. There long hair dropped down and was whipped back to remove the obstruction of water to the face as the figure continued to splatter there face for no visible reason(as it was raining enough to preform such action passively). It was so very cold this night and there was nowhere to go, the figure adjusted to a sitting position and shut their eyes as they shivered intensively. Crying so very violently the figure had been now(enough that the rain fall could be compared to the amount of tears fallen). This was a never ending event of every night for the past year.
A rude awakening was a yank to the hair, as this figure let out a sharp cry. Opening their eyes the figure raised their head up only to see a large clunky figure standing before them with there hand pulling there hair. "A female siren is it?" did the the large clunky man no doubt a guardsmen proclaimed. She grunted at him and lowered her head as much as she could to look away. "With ears of a bat" he muttered amused as he placed his other hand caressing up her right ear. Her teeth exposed and she pushed forward biting down hard onto his arm as she moved her left hand to his side and pulled his sword out. He yelped out in great pain mustering out swears and curses alike but the one thing that seemed to make her most annoyed was being called an animal. The anger pressed onto her like a snuggling coat of lava so wildly she completely lost any grip of reality or control. She staggered up and shouldered the man hard, feeling the connection and metal of his armor hurting herself well. She bent slightly down from the impact and quickly took the sword she pulled from his side and rammed it down into his foot and partially into the ground. She fell feeling weak and ever so tired but as the moment she hit the ground she swept up his other leg bringing him down to a knee. He screamed in agony so loudly, he too could be cause of the reason for the screams at night she plotted to herself. She pushed herself off the floor, drenched and walking poorly like a newborn infant she placed her hands on the hit of his sword and lent over to him. "Oh a weak man" she snickered and bit her lip roughly as she removed his helmet that he wore loosely upon his head and pulled on his hair violently. He continued to curse and yell and everything that just made torture feel so right, to one insane that is. "Oh such small ears like...a hmm...what was that again? Animal?" She muttered as she continued to bite her lip harder till it finally bled. She took her left hand and placed it on her bloody lip then grinned. "Want to know what animals like me hear?" she giggled deviously as she soon found her way to the side of his ear with that same bloody finger forcing it in his ear. The guard was wild with anger trying to get up but the sword was so deep into his foot he could not move. The pain was all to great for him causing his cries to be loud enough to alert the other guards as multiple clanking was once again heard coming closer. She knew she had to move away quickly so she pulled her finger out and spat in his face hitting his eyes and scurried immediately to any direction away she could.
When the guards finally arrived they halted and drew their swords in fear, for the man before them had no eyes and a melted face. One guard stepped forward and said shouting "What are you!" another replied in fear "It's the screaming beast". Confusion was the scene as this disfigured man wore the same guards armor but after all fear would not prevent the men from attacking him as they so blindly did. The disfigured man was enraged from all agony and forced the blade in his foot finally out, he staggered towards the men. The guards panicked shouting "he must be possessed!" as they fought in the alleys of Sohana.
The screams of men could be heard in the distance, but eventually would stop as the seed was planted and the woman had successfully fled. She ran for such a long time enough that she collapsed after a few hours near an unknown river.
